SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The myth of Ariadne, daughter of Minos (King of Crete) and Pasiphae, who helped Theseus out of the labyrinth by giving him the “mitos” (a ball of thread) frequently serves as inspiration for contemporary artists. In the photo, the necklace on a chain, ca. 800 BC, which is exhibited at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and which was the inspiration for the creator.
