In the context of actions to preserve tradition, highlight the importance of sustainability and the utilization of natural raw materials, BH in collaboration with the Department of Textile Conservation of the University of Western Attica organized a workshop on the creation of vegetable threads.
Eleni Koukoulaki, BH’s handicraft consultant and conservator of the organization’s Collection of Weavers, came especially from Crete to hold a seminar on creating thread from the immortal plant and to inform the students about the value of using natural raw materials and their utilization for creation of textiles and related products.
