Since 2022, BH_Kids has been collaborating with the Mamidakis Foundation, developing initiatives that bring children and young people closer to their cultural heritage through contemporary, creative, and innovative approaches.
In this year’s initiative, in November 2025, we invited the founder of the Computational Design Studio ComDes, Dr. Stefanos Drakos, along with Giannis Fragkiadakis, a student at the Athens School of Fine Arts, who shared their collaboration on the Branding Heritage project #Digital_Minoans. Through their presentation to students in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, they demonstrated how art connects with technology, proving that culture can come to life through innovative and contemporary practices.
Each year, the initiatives implemented by BH, with the support of the Mamidakis Foundation, aim to:
bring children and young people closer to their roots,
encourage them to draw inspiration from their cultural heritage,
utilize new technologies for the preservation and promotion of tradition,
use the richness of Greek culture as a springboard for developing entrepreneurial ideas with an international outlook and competitiveness.
