SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The most common type of Minoan cooking utensil was the tripod pot. It was placed directly on the fire and its support on three legs allowed for the heat to permeate the pots. The pots were made out of clay mixed with other materials, such as gravel to minimize abrupt heating. The tripod pots were ideal for slow cooking or boiling of meat, legumes, octopus and cuttlefish.
