SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The colourful garments of the women depicted on the stone sarcophagus that was discovered in a tomb of Hagia Triada in Heraklion, which contains a series of narrative scenes from a Minoan burial ritual. Late Bronze Age, circa 1400 BC. The sarcophagus is displayed at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.
