SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
The faience figurine of the small “Snake Goddess” holding two snakes in her raised hands is one of the most important objects of worship found in the Temple Repositories of Knossos. The goddess is clothed in an elaborate garment, divided into seven overlapping horizontal layers and covered with a short apron and a tight-fitting vest that leaves her breasts uncovered. Late Bronze Age, 1600 BC Heraklion Archaeological Museum
