The Ministry of Education has approved the implementation of an educational programme provided by the cultural organisation Branding Heritage entitled: “Learning Ancient Crafts – Children discover their ancient Greek heritage”, which is addressed to Primary (5th and 6th Grade of Primary School) and Secondary Education (1st and 2nd Grade of Junior High School) students. In cooperation with specialized artisans (potters, weavers and goldsmiths), the organisation will conduct a variety of ancient crafts workshops in order to introduce children to Greece’s cultural heritage in an entertaining way, and to motivate the country’s youth to discover its roots and understand the importance of connecting tradition with contemporary entrepreneurship. The programme has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
